Went for lunch at Sushi Ginza due to the great ratings on here. I am glad I went. The place was not busy at all and my friend and I got a table quickly. I had the sashimi salad lunch special and my friend had the Sushi Roll lunch special. Each special came with tempera chips, 2 pieces of calamari, 2 pieces of salmon type roll, a potato croquette, and fruits. I also ordered the torpedo roll (smoke salmon, tempera shrimp, tataki tuna) which is really delicious name maybe right. The sashimi salad was really yummy. Big portion all around. I visited the Richmond hill location recently for the first time. Considering it was a Monday the restaurant was almost full , a little wait and I was seated by a gracious lady ( I think one of the owner's family).I liked their ambience (they have recently renovated) and efficient service. The food was just awesome. Butter chicken was delicious , lamb chops tender and the black dal complimented the whole meal. Nan was soft. Ask for seat in glass round room. Read more
