This is a place where you can get good food, and at a reasonable price. Small and cozy, the waitresses take care in providing you with what you need, and they serve excellent fish. About the only complaint is that they were not using actual wasabi, but that is hard to get in Winnipeg, so it's understandable. Another point is that they do not have a house sauce, which is one of the things that help diferentiate between different sushi places. I would go here again and again. Read more

I visited Mitzi's on a recommendation from a coworker. I was NOT disappointed. I was seated right away, my cheerful waitress brought me my food quickly, and checked up on me without being intrusive. I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken fingers!! I ordered a medium size platter and ended up taking half of it home for lunch the next day. I agree with previous posters; the dipping sauce is AMAZING. I've never tasted anything quite like it! Sure, the décor is a bit strange, but who cares when the food is this quick, hot and tasty.
